I had the great opportunity to work with the hand of the team of A-site by KrakLab, who are developing open source Augmented Reality(AR) tools to give the potential to all to experiment with it. Presented by KRAKlab and friends, our 2021 pair of workshops introduces mobile augmented reality and AI as essential contemporary tools in the presentation and dissemination of artwork in individual, institutional, and public practice.
I had the opportunity to share and explain how AR could be easily a visualizing tool and help to promote creativity. During the In-Person presentation, that took place at the Worksman Art Auditorium, we engaged with participants to play and enjoy the two ways to interact with the AR tool presented to them. One way to work with it is Self-detection through the camera, which will auto-generate a rig based on the body silhouette. Another way is by placing markers to project 3D models on site.
